Permanent Supportive Housing
Stable housing. Real support. Long-term change.
PorchLight’s Housing Program provides 82 permanent housing units for single adult men transitioning out of homelessness in East King County. With all services delivered in-house, our model offers more than a place to live, it creates the foundation for lasting stability.
Each resident has the opportunity to have personalized, wraparound support rooted in dignity, trust, and community. In 2023, 98% of participants remained housed for two years or more or successfully transitioned to other permanent housing.
Meeting Complex Needs with Real Solutions
We operate ten shared homes and twelve independent apartments:
- Shared homes accommodate six men in private, lockable rooms with shared kitchens and bathrooms.
Apartments include studios and one- or two-bedroom units, leased directly by residents with ongoing support.
The men we serve face rising rents, limited behavioral health resources, employment barriers, and deep systemic inequities. Without stable housing, these challenges only compound.
PorchLight breaks that cycle by offering:
- Culturally responsive, trauma-informed support
- Behavioral health and substance use services
- Case management and life skills development
- Employment and financial counseling
- Access to medical, dental, and legal assistance
This is what stability looks like: Housing with heart, and support that lasts.
