Individual Giving A steady path forward begins with one person.

Individual giving fuels the daily work of PorchLight. It allows us to respond quickly, care consistently, and walk alongside each man as he works toward stable housing and renewed independence.

Before you ever meet the men at PorchLight, your support is already part of their lives.

Not every homeless person is a drug addict or a criminal. Some of us fell on hard times.

Come to PorchLight. Speak with one of us. See a smile. That is what a donation means.

Ways to Give

Your one-time gift provides immediate support for men working toward stability. This includes gifts made online, by check, or through a donor-advised fund.

Each contribution helps fund safe shelter, warm meals, behavioral health support, and the daily services that meet urgent needs as they arise.

LightKeepers give monthly to provide steady, reliable support throughout the year. Monthly giving allows PorchLight to plan ahead, respond quickly, and offer consistent care as men move through their Path to Stability. It is one of the most effective ways to sustain our work.

A Legacy of Light gift allows you to make a lasting impact through a planned gift, such as a bequest or beneficiary designation.

These gifts are arranged today and support PorchLight’s mission well into the future, helping ensure dignity, care, and stability for generations to come.

If you are unsure where to begin, we are happy to help you explore options at your own pace.

Founded in 1993, PorchLight is a nonprofit organization helping unhoused men in East King County regain stability through safe shelter and comprehensive support that addresses health, housing, and self-sufficiency.

PorchLight recognizes that the ground we stand on is the traditional territory of the Coast Salish peoples. We honor their past and present connection to this land and are grateful for their stewardship, which continues to inspire our work creating spaces of safety, belonging, and renewal.
