PorchLight Accessibility Statement

At PorchLight Cares, we are dedicated to ensuring that our programs, services, and resources are accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that accessibility is a fundamental aspect of our commitment to serving the diverse needs of the homeless men in our community and beyond.

Our Commitment We are committed to providing an inclusive environment where all individuals, regardless of ability, can fully participate in our programs and benefit from our services. We strive to ensure that our physical spaces, digital platforms, and communication materials are accessible to everyone.

Website Accessibility PorchLight is committed to making our website accessible to individuals with disabilities. We aim to adhere to best practices and standards as defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to provide an accessible online experience. This includes ensuring that our website is navigable by screen readers, offering alternative text for images, providing captions for videos, and maintaining an overall user-friendly interface.

Physical Accessibility Our facilities in Bellevue, Washington, are designed to be accessible to individuals with disabilities. We offer ramps, accessible parking spaces, and restrooms that meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards. We are continually working to identify and remove any barriers that may impede access to our services.

Accessible Communication We strive to ensure that our communications are accessible to all. Upon request, we provide materials in alternative formats, such as large print, Braille, or audio, and we make accommodations for individuals who require assistive technologies or other forms of support. We also offer sign language interpretation and other necessary services to facilitate effective communication.

Ongoing Improvement Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are continually working to enhance the accessibility of our services and facilities. We welcome feedback from our clients, volunteers, and the community to help us identify areas for improvement and ensure that we are meeting the needs of all individuals.

Contact Us If you experience any difficulty accessing our services or have suggestions on how we can improve accessibility, please contact us. We are committed to addressing accessibility issues promptly and ensuring that everyone has equal access to our resources.
