Adam's New Home
Adam came to CFH in late 2021 after learning about our services from our Outreach Worker. He soon got a job through our partnership with King County Parks and Recreation and joined the Rapid Rehousing Program offered by Catholic Community Services.
Adam moved into one of our shelter programs, which rotates among local congregations, while he waited for housing.
In February of this year, Adam got his own apartment in Redmond and moved into new home.
He shared, “CFH was there for me in a very challenging time of my life. The staff showed me kindness and understanding. My daily hygiene, food, clothing, and bed needs were met without judgment, and most recently, they assisted with my transition into independent living. Thank you CFH for all you do for those of us who have sometimes life-threatening circumstances. When nobody else cared, you cared.”
